Celebrating 8 years!

It all started in the spring of 2007. We decided to take a chance and do our own thing. That’s when Doug Brown Design was born. We’ve learned a lot, met a lot of great people, and had the opportunity to work on some great projects. As we look back over the past eight years of business, a few of our long-term clients stand out. These are clients we have been able to grow with, to create and implement strategy with, and to do some of our best and most interesting work with.

BauscherHEPP, a European fine china and cutlery company, has been a client for years. It’s been great to work with them on broad-scope projects. Together we created project plans and strategy for their marketing and visual content and we implemented that strategy through their website, catalogues, and marketing collateral.

We’ve also had the opportunity to work with Maltshop Cookies on marketing, strategy and design. What’s been exciting about this partnership is that their target market has evolved. As they have moved into the high-end soft-baked cookie space we’ve been able to work together to transition from a retro malt shop type of visual brand to create a new look and feel for their packaging and marketing that’s more suitable for where they find themselves today.

North Carolina Farm Bureau, as the state’s largest agricultural non-profit, promotes farm and rural issues through a variety of means including governmental relations, marketing, agricultural education, and other programs. From traditional avenues of delivery like billboards to modern technology like their recently-launched app, we’ve had a great time working with NCFB on sending their message to the community they serve in a way that meets them at their points of need.

We are so fortunate at Doug Brown Design to work with so many interesting companies and creative individuals. Whether our client is a small local start-up or an established international organization, with each new project we are given an opportunity to stretch our creativity to find solutions and the right visual brand within the company’s means. As we look forward to the next eight years, we are excited to continue to grow, and to expand our scope of services, from technology to consulting. We are grateful to all of our clients and look ahead to new creative experiences together.
